I’m Serena, the owner and creative director behind Dahlia Dream Designs.
Dahlia Dream was born out of a lifelong love for beauty, storytelling, and the quiet magic that flowers bring to life’s most meaningful moments. What started as a creative experiment quickly grew into a full-time passion — designing bespoke floral experiences for couples and clients who value artistry, detail, and emotion woven into every petal.
As a Colorado-based wedding and event florist, I believe flowers have a language all their own — one that tells stories of joy, celebration, and connection. My approach to design blends a romantic aesthetic with a modern sensibility, creating arrangements that feel timeless yet alive, refined yet full of personality.
No two events are ever the same, and that’s what keeps me inspired. From lush, colorful compositions bursting with texture and depth to minimal palettes that rely on form and movement, I love exploring unexpected color stories and pairing blooms in ways that feel both natural and elevated.
Each project begins with collaboration. I take the time to learn about you — your vision, your style, and the feeling you want guests to experience when they step into your space. From there, I translate that energy into thoughtful floral design that reflects who you are as a couple or brand.
For me, the most rewarding part of what I do is seeing everything come to life — the moment a bride holds her bouquet for the first time, a ceremony space transformed into something cinematic, or a dinner table glowing under candlelight surrounded by flowers we dreamed up together. It’s in those fleeting, emotional moments that all the behind-the-scenes creativity becomes something tangible and unforgettable.

The name Dahlia Dream was inspired by one of my favorite blooms — the dahlia. Known for its layers, structure, and endless variety, the dahlia symbolizes creativity, grace, and lasting commitment — values that mirror the heart of what I do.
Every petal tells a story of growth and transformation, much like the journey each couple takes leading up to their wedding day. The “dream” in Dahlia Dream represents that moment when vision meets reality — when all the sketches, palettes, and ideas finally come to life in full bloom.
